the property was beautiful but some rooms could use a few updates here and there. would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway still near DC area. staff were very friendly and accommodating
Very beautiful location. Rooms are a little on the smaller side. But well furnished and pretty inside. The hotel staff was also very kind and helpful.
Absolutely beautiful. Held my sisters wedding here, and we couldn't have asked for more. The laid back atmosphere is conducive to family freaking out over a wedding. The staff is professional as isbdemanded in a wedding, and they are well-comported.
I have also enjoyed browsing the gift and clothing items for sale there.
I have never met such friendly staff. I have nothing but good things to say about everyone I interacted with throughout my stay. The room was also beautiful of course with a phenomenal view. The only slight downside was having the stairs for another room echoing through the bedroom. But with everyone observing quiet hours, hardly a drawback. I can't wait to return.
Unforgettable. Unique nautical ambience. Wonderful views and food. A great place to go any time of the year, and I highly recommend autumn and even the depths of winter -- such a different experience from summer.
